Designed to equip you with essential skills, the Pre-Course covers basic life support, including CPR AED for adults and children, and proper bandaging techniques. By completing this training, you will gain the necessary knowledge and skills to confidently enter our Wilderness First Aid Courses. The Emergency Care & Safety Institute (ECSI)'s Wilderness First Aid course stands out due to its adherence to the latest guidelines and meets the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) training requirements. Our experienced instructor will deliver the most current information and techniques, ensuring that participants receive the most up-to-date training available. Any certificate course with CPR AED (adult and child) and bandaging is required before taking this course. Our Pre-Course can be taken for the entry exemption if you are a new first aid learner.

With our flexible contents to suit your needs, this Wilderness First Aid Training focuses on teaching participants how to assess and manage injuries and illnesses that may occur in areas where access to medical facilities is limited. By completing this course, individuals gain the confidence and competence to respond effectively in wilderness emergencies. We can also design customized wilderness first aid training courses for individual groups or organizations to enhance their ability to deal with injuries in the wilderness. This is designed to equip any of you interested in the knowledge and expertise to tie essential knots for various survival situations. You will learn a wide range of knots and their practical applications in emergency scenarios. From rigging and safely descending, to rapid rescue and standard operation procedure (SOP) in accidents, wilderness rope skills are suitable for any outdoor recreationists, such as hikers, long-distance runners, rock climbers and field workers. By mastering these skills, you will gain the confidence and ability to effectively secure and manipulate ropes, ensuring their own and fellows’ safety and in challenging and unpredictable environments.
The Wilderness First Aid Drill is an important training exercise that simulates real-life emergency scenarios in remote and wilderness environments. This immersive drill allows participants to apply their knowledge and skills in a controlled setting, testing their ability to respond effectively to medical emergencies. Through realistic simulations, participants practice patient assessment, wound management, and improvised medical solutions, enhancing their confidence, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
